He was born Nov. 22, 1938, in Las Vegas, and was a 57-year resident of Nevada. Harold was a U.S. Army veteran and North Las Vegas Police Officer. He later worked as a journeyman electrician with the IBEW 357. He spent his declining years on his ranch in Cottonwood, Calif., which he loved dearly. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Harold Tomskik and Virginia Logan. Harold is survived by his children, Greg (Dana) Tomsik, Cindy Sharp, Edward Harold Tomsik III, also known as Trey (Melissa) and Jason Tomsik; and grandchildren, Jeff, Taryn, Lauren, Shalee, Tiffany, Dillan and Parker. Service will be at 12:45 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30, at Northern California Veterans Cemetery, in Redding. "Harold will be deeply missed!"
