Vickie Walker 
 

VICKIE WALKER Vickie Lou Walker, 57, of Las Vegas, passed away Sept. 30, 2011. 
She was born Dec. 28, 1953, the eldest of two children born to Wallace and 
Lucille Tebbs, in Las Vegas, and was a lifetime resident. She graduated from 
Rancho High School with her lifelong best friend Lee Larson. Vickie spent 26 
wonderful years as an executive assistant with the Southern Nevada Water 
Authority. During this time, she established many meaningful and long-lasting 
relationships. Vickie was vivacious and full of life, and her presence made 
life easier for everyone around her. She loved to serve others whether through 
friendship or by random and selfless acts of kindness. Her favorite color 
was "shiny." She brought much light to this world. She was preceded in death 
by her father, Wallace Tebbs. She is survived by her husband, Gordon; 
children, Erin (Marc) Dudley, Eamon (Jessie) Springall, both of Las Vegas; 
grandchildren , Ethan, Shelby, Aidian, and Colten; mother, Lucille Tebbs of 
St. George, Utah; brother, Mike (Nancy); niece, Kelsey; and nephew, Jason 
Tebbs, of Layton, Utah. Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 16, 
at the Lighthouse Christian Fellowship, Costa Canyon Court, Suite 105 in Las 
Vegas, www.lcflasvegas.org Donations can be made to The Hirshberg Foundation 
for Pancreatic Cancer Research, www.pancreatic.org
