Vergie Lee Watson, 45, of North Las Vegas, died Wednesday in a local hospital.  

He was a resident of Las Vegas since 1961. 

 

He was born Dec. 27, 1935, in Arkansas, and was a custodian for Centel 

Telephone Co. 

 

He is survived by his sons, Willie and Ray of Las Vegas; daughters Nora 

McKenzie and Linda, both of Las Vegas, and Annette Harper of Varner, Ark.; 

brothers, Joseph, Jr. of Gould, Ark., and Sylvester of Omaha; sisters, Luevenia 

Young of Las Vegas and Geraldine Anderson of Omaha; and four grandchildren. 

 

Visitation was scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. Friday in Bunker Chapel.  Services 

will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Bunker Chapel.  Burial will be in Arkansas. 

 

Bunker Mortuary is handling arrangements.
