Palestine Webb, 62, died Tuesday in a local hospital.  She was a 42-year 
resident of Las Vegas.

A pantry worker in a hotel, she was born Oct. 30, 1930 in Fordyce, Ark.

She is survived by her daughters, Cassie Winston, Barbara Jordan, Norma 
Johnson, Angela McCoy, Anna Zelda, Michelle and Denise and sons, Cleophes, Jr., 
Anthony Arthur, Rickey Kenneth, Spencer and Jeffrey, all of Las Vegas; 
brothers, Herbert Shelton of Arkansas, J.C. Shelton; Ciothis Shelton, Dennis 
Shelton and Leon Shelton, all of Las Vegas and R. C. Shelton o f Reno; sisters 
Lorraine Williams and Mattie, both of Las Vegas, and Carrie McDuffie of San 
Francisco; 43 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. today and Sunday in Davis Funeral Home.  
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Pentecostal Temple Church of God in 
Christ, with burial in Palm Memorial Park.
