WHEATLEY Mrs. John WHEATLEY of Searchlight died a few days ago at Redondo Beach, Cal. Mrs. Ben EMRICK, daughter of the deceased, was at the bedside at the time of her mother's death. Father REYNOLDS of this city went to Searchlight to conduct the funeral services, the remains being brought home for burial in the family plot. The sympathy of all goes out to the sorrowing ones in this bereavement. Mrs. WHEATLEY and her husband, who died about four years ago, were among the prominent pioneers of this section, having lived for some time in Delamar and Pioche prior to going to Searchlight in the year 1898. Note: per Searchlight Cemetery #4 index, her first name is Bridie and she died on 8/18/1914.
