SAMUEL WILLIAMS Samuel Carter Williams was born Oct. 7, 1939. in San Francisco, 
and passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at Nathan Adelson in Las 
Vegas. Sam worked in the pari-mutuels his entire career at race tracks in 
California. As a young man, he was a pro-bowler and served in the U.S. Navy. 
Sam's life-long passion was horse-racing, but you would also find him enjoying 
a game of football and spending time with family and friends. Sam is survived 
by his wife, Dianne; son, Grant; daughter, Kim; and grandkids, Benjamin and 
Erin. Please join us 4-6 p.m. Saturday, June 15, at Green Valley Ranch, 2300 
Paseo Verde Parkway, to celebrate his life. Reservation under Dianne 
Williams. "We love you, Pop!"
