DIED

WILLIAMS:  In this city, Tuesday, July 15th, 1913, Mrs. Elizabeth 
WILLIAMS, wife of J. J. WILLIAMS, Sr., mother of Conductor J. J. 
WILLIAMS, aged 65 years.  The funeral was held at the L.D. SMITH 
undertaking parlors Wednesday and the body shipped to Los Angeles for 
interment.
    The deceased was little known in this city, having been an almost 
helpless invalid for the past eight years.  Before her affliction she 
was very active, possessed of a keen intellect and fond of literary 
work.
    The sorrowing relatives have the sympathy of a large circle of 
friends in their sad bereavement.  Although the loss of one so close is 
hard to bear, they yet have the consolation of knowing that they 
ministered kindly to her every want during the long heartbreaking 
illness of the wife and mother.
