WILSON, a well known resident of this city, was found dead in room 7 of the Las Vegas Hotel Tuesday morning about 9:30. James CLARK unlocked the door of the room to find out why WILSON did not reply to knocks and found the dead body lying partially against the door and covered with blood. Coroner HARKINS held an inquest and from the evidence adduced it appeared that WILSON was not seen alive after Sunday evening. The jury, composed of A. R. ANDERSON, foreman, J. H. LIGHTFOOD, Howard CONKLIN, D. A. POTTER, Lou MARTIN and J. A. DELAMETER brought in a verdict that death resulted "from a hemorrhage of the pulmonary canal superinduced by the excessive use of alcoholic stimulants." The deceased was 40 years of age and a native of Ohio. The funeral was held Thursday afternoon from the Chapel of the Las Vegas Undertaking Company.
