JEAN WOOD DIES AFTER LONG ILLNESS

	Jean V. Miller Wood, well-known resident of Las Vegas, died 
Monday in Sunrise Hospital after a lengthy illness.

	Mrs. Wood came to Las Vegas 20 years ago with her former 
husband, the late Irv Miller, who was co-owner of the Desert Inn Apparal Shop.

	Mrs. Wood, a member of the Ladies of Variety Tent 39, served 
for five years as secretary of the organization and was active in the many 
fund-raising projects to help handicapped and needy children.

	She and her husband, (omitted) lived on Ottowa Drive.  In addition 
to her husband, she is survived by (omitted).  

	In lieu of flowers, a contribution may be made to Variety Tent 39.  
There will be no services.
