YBARRA then turned the pistol upon himself with good results, the bullet entering below the right jaw and lodging in the brain, death being immediate. The sheriff's office was immediately notified of the shooting and Undersheriff Frank WAIT, Acting Coroner SPRAGUE, Dr. H. L. HEWETSON and W. I. ROBERTS left for the scene in an automobile. Mrs. NEGRETE was brought to the railroad hospital for treatment and then sent to Los Angeles on No. 3 this morning, where she will be operated upon in an endeavor to save her life. The body of the slayer was brought to Las Vegas by the undertaker and buried in the potter's field at the expense of the county. The imquest was held in this city Friday, R. E. LAKE, A. H. WOODARD and T. W. MESCHER being the jurors. The verdict was suicide. At the time of his death YBARRA had two brothers residing at Garnet.
