Prominent Carson Society Woman Dead

After quite a long illness brought on by a weak heart, Mrs. Earl Tremont, one of
the most prominent young society women of Carson City, passed away at her home
in that city, last Tuesday afternoon, after everything possible had been done to
save her life.  She leaves a daughter, a baby son and a loving husband to mourn
her death.

Mrs. Helen Edith Tremont came to Nevada when a young girl and was wooed and won
by Earl W. Tremont, for some years past the receiver of the federal land office
in Carson City.  She was well known in Reno and had hosts of friends.  The
funeral services will take place in Carson City under the direction of the Masons.
