                          Arthur

A small postoffice on the west side of the Humboldt Range of
Mountains, south of the central portion of Elko County 40 miles
east of Elko, the county seat and banking town, and 20 miles
from Halleck, the shipping point on the S P Ry. Has telephone
connection with Elko. Tri-weekly stage to Halleck, fare $2.00,
and to Ruby Valley, fare $2.00.

Population 75.
