A village located in the southern part of Elko County, near the boundary
line of White Pine County on the west bank of Ruby Lake, 60 miles from 
Elko, the county seat, banking and shipping point, and about 350 miles
east of Carson City. Has telephone connection with Elko, Halleck and 
Wells. Stage communication with Halleck tri-weekly, fare $3.50
