                               Lamoille

A village of 200 population, located a little south of the central part of
Elko County, on Lamoille Creek, 20 miles southeast of Elko, the county seat,
shipping station and banking town. It has a fine creamery, an Episcopal
church and a good hotel. Telephone connection with all surrounding towns.
Tri-weekly stage to Elko, fare $1.50.
