W.T. O'Neil Dies On Coast



Elko, Jan. 12.- William, T. O'Neil died in Oakland Saturday, according to word 

received here.  Mr. O'Neil was born in Dutch Flat, Cal., and spent practically 

all of his life in Nevada having come to the state when he was but nine years 

of age.  Thirty-three years of his life was spent in Elko county.  His home 

was in Wells, which gave him easy access to his extensive stock ranches which 

are mostly situated in and around that section of Elko county.



Mr. O'Neil was the senior member of the firm of O'Neil Bros., which was 

incorporated for $1,200,000.  Attorney Edwin E. Caine, their attorney, will 

depart this evening to attend the funeral which will be held in Oakland.
