Weekly Nevada State Journal November 3, 1883
Hon. L. I. Hogle, who was nominated by the Republicans of Nevada in 1874, and
who resigned from the ticket a short time after in favor of Uncle Geo. Tufly,
died at Independence Valley, near Tuscarora on Wednesday, October 24, 1883, aged
about 56 years.
