Daily Nevada State Journal December 6, 1883
The Elko Independent, of Tuesday says: Mr. E. B. Harlan and Miss Melindo
Roberts, who arrived here from Tuscarora by stage Saturday, were married at the
Depot Hotel last evening at 7 o’clock.  The ceremony was performed in the
presence of a few friends.  After the congratulations, refreshments were served,
and soon after, the happy couple boarded the train for San Francisco.
