The circumstances indicated that Pray died from an accidental shot while examining an automatic pistol. His funeral is at Goldfield today in charge of the Elks Lodge. His father was Captain A. W. Pray who had mills and a big lumber business on Lake Tahoe, living at Glenbrook from a very early day until he died. His was the first saw mill erected in Nevada. For many years the family lived in Carson and Captain Pray died there. Chester's mother died in Brockline Massachusetts, last autumn and Chester was the only remaining member. Mrs. A.A. Si8lver, a sister, died several years ago and with this family is extinct. All of the family were of the best type of American people. Mrs. Pray's sister is the wife of Hon. Henry B. Cram of Boston, Massachusetts, and with her. Mrs. Pray made her home for several years.
