J. Twilegar, proprietor of the Lyric theatre and old time resident of Goldfield, died at his home here Wednesday, aged seventy-three years. He had been in failing health for nearly a year. He is survived by a wife. Mr. and Mrs. Twilegar had resided here for almost twenty years, coming from Minnesota. He was one of the directors and a heavy stockholder in the Manhattan Consolidated Mining Company. The funeral will be held from Sacred Heart church Saturday afternoon. Additional Comments: Andrew Jackson Twilegar lived in Vallejo, California from about 1879 to 1903. He was born in Webster Co., Iowa Aug. 16, 1854, to John and Phoebe (Bowman) Terwillegar. Andrew Jackson Twilegar also lived in Cherokee Co, Iowa before going to Calif.
