Hon. Henry Rives, Judge of the Sixth Judicial District of the State
of Nevada, was married last Thursday in Eureka, Nev., to Miss Annie
Reece, daughter of Dr. J. H. Reece, of Pioche, Nev. Judge Rives' first
wife, died about eighteen months ago, leaving him in charge of a young
daughter. The young lady whom the Judge has chosen as his partner in
life is very pretty and intelligent, and has a host of friends who will
be pleased to learn of her marriage to such a distinguished gentleman
as Judge Henry Rives. Judge Rives is by far the youngest man that ever
sat on the Nevada bench. He is also one of the ablest jurists on the
Pacific Coast. He is spoken of as a candidate for United States Senator
for Nevada on the Democratic ticket to succeed Senator Fair.
