                             Fitting

A small town formerly known as Foltz, situated in the Humrange of mountains, 
in the southern part of Humboldt County, 60 miles from Winnemucca, the county 
seat, 30 miles from Lovelocks,  the banking and shipping point, and 200 miles
northeast of Carson City. Mining is the chief industry. Stage communication
semi-weekly with Lovelocks, fare $2.50.
