Death of an Old Timer

William H. Davis, an old time resident of Humboldt county, died last Saturday in
the County Hospital, at Winnemucca to which place he had been removed the day
previous.  He went to Silver City, Idaho, in 1885, and sustained injuries by
having both arms dislocated at the shoulders, from which he never fully
recovered.  He had an uncontrollable appetite for strong drink, which no doubt
hastened his death.  He was a native of New York, and about 60 years of age.
