Daily Nevada State Journal May 8, 1884
Dick Haskins, a miner, and one of the pioneers of Humboldt county, died in
Winnemucca last Sunday of hemorrhage of the lungs.  He had been mining in
Campbell District, and caught a severe cold while assorting ore.  Saturday he
was taken to Winnemucca by his brothers James, almost in a dying condition.  He
worked in Dun Glen to early days.
