Reno Evening Gazette November 21, 1881
S. B. Palmer, generally known as “Brick,” died Saturday morning in Winnemucca
after an illness of over two months.  He was somewhat of a character, and liked
to be considered a great politician.  He was a good citizen and an hones man,
and, notwithstanding his eccentricities, had many friends in Paradise valley and
elsewhere in the county.
