Woman Dies, Funeral Slated

Battle Mountain - Mrs. Cecelia Jury, 81 died at the Battle Mountain General hospital early
Sunday morning after several months of ill health.

	Mrs. Jury was born on Ruby Hill, near Eureka, Aug. 14, 1881.  She grew to 
womanhood in Eureka and attended schools there.  She married William Jury in Ogden, UT, 
Jan. 27, 1900.

	The young couple made their home in Galena Canyon, near Battle Mountain from 
May 1, 1901 to Feb. 11, 1911 when they moved to Battle Mountain.  She has resided here 
continuously since.

	Mrs. Jury is survived by [omitted]

	She was an active member of Community Methodist Church and W. S. C. S. in 
Battle Mountain.  She was preceded in death by her husband, William Jury, Jan. 26, 1939.

	Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Community Methodist Church 
in Battle Mountain.  Burial will be in Battle Mountain Cemetery.  Eddy Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
