Elsie Stamatz


Battle Mountain - Elsie Mabel Stamatz, 57, died Saturday at the home 
of her brother, James Jury in Seattle, Wash.

	She had been at the home of her brother for six weeks and 
had lived in Battle Mountain all her life.

	Mrs. Stamatz was born April 26, 1911 in Battle Mountain.

	She was a graduate of Battle Mountain High School.

	She married George Stamatz, Aug. 9, 1944 and he preceds 
her in death.

	Survivors include [omitted]

	A funeral will be held at the First Methodist Church in Battle 
Mountain today at 2 p.m.  The Rev. William Birdsey will officiate.

	Burial will be in the family plot in the Battle Mountain Cemetery.

	Eddy Mortuary in Winnemucca is in charge of arrangements.
