                             Gold Butte

A postoffice in the southeastern portion of Lincoln County, near the Nevada-
Arizona state line, 125 miles from Pioche, the county seat, and 45 miles 
from Moapa, its shipping place. Las Vegas is the nearest banking point. This
is strictly a mining district. Stage line daily with Logan $3.50, with
Overton $2.50, and St Thomas $2.00.
