                             Good Springs

A village of 100 population in the extreme southern part of Lincoln County,
30 miles southwest of Las Vegas, the nearest banking point, 7 miles from Jean, 
its shipping station, and 190 miles from Pioche, the county seat. Tri-weekly
stage to Sandy, fare $1.50, and to Jean, fare $1.00.
