PROMINENT PHYSICIAN DIES IN PIOCHE



    Dr. J. D. CAMPBELL, for more than 40 years a practicing physician in 

Nevada, died at his home in Pioche Sunday morning, January 8.  He had been 

ill the past year afflicted with a very acute heart trouble and had 

consulted with specialists in Salt Lake but no hope of recovery was given 

him and he returned to his home to await his final summons.

    He was prominent in fraternal circles and had served as state senator 

from Lincoln county.  He is mourned by his wife, three sons and many 

friends.  Interment took place at Pioche on Jan. 11, under the auspices of 

the Odd Fellows.
