Death of an Estimable Lady

The sister of Assemblyman Rice, Mrs. George Moody, died at 12 o’clock Tuesday
night at Spring Valley, Lincoln county.  Mr. Rice is greatly distressed over the
sad news, as he cannot, on account of the storm, communicate even by telegraph
with the bereaved ones.  To reach home, where his sister died, would take seven
days, counting on no interruptions in the journey.
