Death of a Pioneer
Pioche, May 18
Charles F. Myers, Treasurer of Lincoln county, was found dead, reclining in a
chair, in the office this morning.  He apparently died while asleep, from
rheumatism of the heart.  The deceased was a member of the Nevada Assembly of
1885, Postmaster in Pioche in the bonanza days, and a pioneer well known
throughout the coast.  All his accounts are square.
