Interment will be handled by the Lincoln County Mortuary at Caliente following funeral services at 2 p.m. tomorrow. Known as "Brad" Stuart over the southwestern part of the United States to his many friends, Mr. Stuart moved to Caliente Oct. 8 of this year from his ranch home at the mouth of Rainbow Canyon southwest, of Caliente, to be near a doctor. Mr. Stuart, historian and archaeologist, retired to his ranch following 36 years of employment by the Union Pacific Railroad, B & B Department. He lived at Moapa for the past 25 years of his service to the railroad company. Interested in archaeology, Mr. Stuart led many field trips over the deserts of the southwest for universities and other interested groups. Mr. Stuart was a regular contributor to True West magazine and to the Master Key of the Southwest and has donated several collections of Indian artifacts to the Southwest Museum in Los Angeles and to the Nevada State Museum in Carson City. Mr. Stuart was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Veterans of World War I, and the American Legion, having served in the United States Navy for 14 years, most of this in foreign ports of the world. He was a graduate marine engineer and served with his master's papers, until his employment by the Union Pacific Rairoad Company. Mr. Stuart was born Nov. 23, 1891, at Lorena, Tex., and married his wife, [name omitted] Sept. 7, 1926, at Huntsville, Ala. Mrs. Stuart resides in [omitted]. He also is survived by [omitted]
