WELLAND - CAPITANI - Last Sunday evening at their residence on Cedar Street here,
Henry Welland and Miss Mary Capitani were joined together in marriage. Rev. Father
McManus performed the ceremony, having come from Salt Lake for that purpose. A large
number of friends of the contracting parties were present, and an enjoyable evening
was passed by all.
 The groom is one of our best known citizens and one of the oldest residents of this
place. He was the happiest man of the evening, and the bride too blushingly and
graciously accepted the numerous congratulations which poured in. It is beyond us to
describe the bride's dress and appearance, but it was simply stunning, and was the
cause of much favorable comment.
 The invited guests were not forgetful of the happy pair and numerous and
appropriate were the presents bestowed. The list includes many articles of
silverware and jewelry, with a number of useful household articles.
 Not the least event of the evening was the supper, spread at midnight at
"Dick's"where all did ample justice to the heavily loaded tables, after which
several hours were spent again at the residence, and all went marry as the
proverbial "marriage ball".
 The following evening a party of friends tendered a serenade to the newly married
couple, who start out in married life with good wishes from many friends.
