Silver City Lady Called by Death

Margaret Elizabeth Ballom Passes Away Suddenly at Home

Another sad death has visited this section this week, that of Mrs. Elizabeth
Margaret Ballom, who died at the home of her mother in Empire yesterday.
Mrs. Ballom, who lived in Silver City, was summoned from there several days ago
as her mother was in ill health.  She, herself, had been in her usual good
health.  Yesterday morning, however, she complained of not feeling well, but did
want a physician.  One was called against her wishes, but before he arrived
there she had passed away.

Mrs. Ballom was 44 years, 1 month and 24 days of age.  She has passed the
greater part of her life in this section, having lived in Silver City since her
marriage.

She leaves to mourn her untimely demise, an aged mother, husband, three sisters,
Mrs. James Regan, Mrs. Frank Howard and Mrs. Bullum; also two brothers, Matt and
Joe Baxter.

The funeral will take place from the Empire school house Wednesday March 6th.
The sympathy of the community goes out to the bereaved family- Carson News.
