DIED IN HAWTHORNE



    Mrs. A. J. MC CARTHY, wife of the editor of the Walker Lake Bulletin

dies Tuesday in Hawthorne, according to information received in Reno.  Mrs.

MC CARTHY was one of the prominent residents of Hawthorne and known all over

the state as an active club worker.  She had lived in Hawthorne over thirty

years during which time her husband has been editor of the Walker Lake

Bulletin.  Before her marriage she lived in Virginia City.
