                              Hot Creek


A village located in the central portion of Nye County, 80 miles northeast 
of Tonopah, the county seat, and the same distance from Eureka, either 
place being a banking and shipping point. Mining and dealing in live stock 
are the chief industries. Semi-weekly stage to Eureka, fare $10.00; round 
trip $16.00.
