                              Kawich


Also known as Gold Reed, is a town of 50 population, situated in the Kawich 
range of mountains, near the central part of Nye County, about 60 miles east 
of Goldfield, the banking town, and 70 miles, southeast of Tonopah the county 
seat and shipping station. Has weekly stage with Tonopah and Goldfield, fare
$10.00.
