                       Millett

A small postoffice of 100 population is situated in the Toi-Ya-be range
of mountains, in the northeastern part of Nye County, 40 miles south of 
Austin, its banking and shipping station, and 85 north of Tonopah, the
county seat. Mining and stock raising are the chief industries. Has 
2 hotels and a good merchandise store. Telephone connection with Austin,
Manhattan, Tonopah and rural routes, also daily stage to Austin, fare
$5.00, to Manhattan, fare $5.50.
