Lyman Lee Murdock Sr., 87, passed away Feb. 11, 2011, in Las Vegas.
He was born Nov. 21, 1923, in Independence, Mo., and was a resident of Pahrump 
for 19 years, having come from Oxnard, Calif.
He was a veteran of the Navy and served during World War II.
He was a retired rock hound.
Surviving are his sister Vivian Smith of Phoenix, Ariz.; sons Lyman Lee 
Murdock Jr. of Springerville, Ariz., Dale Robert Murdock of Mesa, Ariz., 
William J. Murdock of Ventura, Calif., and Michael Timothy Murdock of Pahrump; 
daughters Janet Spotted Eagle of Bloomfield, N.M., and Virginia Lynn Stevenson 
of Phoenix; nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-
grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Anita Murdock.
Private family services were held.  (02/11/2011)
