Pahrump Valley Times    Jan. 5, 2011
Jerry L. Syferd passed away peacefully Dec. 10, 2010 at home in Pahrump.
He was born Dec. 12, 1951, in Centerville, Iowa, to Harold Syferd and Wanda 
(Rees) Syferd.
He served his country in the United States Navy and retired from the State of 
Nevada Deptartment of Corrections.
He will be greatly missed by his wife and best friend of 20 years Judith N. 
Syferd.  He leaves behind daughter Judy (James) Ingledue, and their children 
Brittney, Bryan, Jon and Branden. He was great-Pawpaw to Haleyjo and Amanda.
He leaves behind father Harold Syferd; uncle Dwight and others, aunt Marge and 
Uncle Glenn Wyer and uncle Bob Wiley; best friends Ron and Pam DeFazio, Sal 
DeFazo, and Scott and Trudy Feldhauser, friends of 41 years.
Ron and Donna Bailey and Jesse and Linda Hunt will miss him a lot.
He was preceded in death by his mother Wanda Syferd.  (12/10/2010)
