The dispatch stated that while he was in the manway a number of rocks fell on him and that the injuries received from these were enough to kill him, let alone the fall that he received. Vuccovich had been warned by the head timberman not to work in the manway, but disregarded the orders with the result that he met his death. The inquest was held by Judge Hayes and the jury impaneled brought in a verdict absolving the company from all responsibility. The deceased was well known here, having worked in the mints at Tonopah before going to National, and was regarded as a good steady man by all those who knew him. He leaves two brothers, both of whom are well known in Tonopah and other parts of Nye county. The funeral will be held at National today.
