Tonopah Man Married Girl from Riverside

  Tonopah, Feb. 12.- (Special to the Gazette).- Glenn Baxter, cashier in the 

local office of the Nevada-California Power Company, was married Saturday in 

Los Angeles to Miss Celestine Friend, cashier of the Riverside office of the 

company.  The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Friend, her father 

one of the oldest employes of the power company at the Riverside 

headquarters.  She is an accomplished musician.  Mr. Baxter has been employed 

in the Tonopah office for the past three and a half years, coming originally 

from Riverside.  The couple will make their home in Tonopah.
