Daily Nevada State Journal July 6, 1886
A Fatal Accident.—Last Saturday afternoon James Adams, who for many years has
been in the employ of the V. & T. R. R. Company at Carson as wheel-taper, had
both legs cut off below the knees by the cars from which effects he died Sunday
afternoon.  Deceased leaves a wife and several children.
