The Last Sad Rites
The funeral of the late Anthony McGwin, who killed a day or two since in Douglas
county by his Danish tenant at the “Lute Olds” ranch, took place Wednesday in
Carson.  It was quite largely attended.  He has heretofore been mentioned in the
papers as “Irish Johnny,” was born in Ireland aged 34 years.  He leaves a sister
in Iowa, who has been advised of the sad event by telegraph.
