She was taken sick about two weeks ago with bilious fever. Mrs. Tufly was a pioneer of Carson, having went there early in the sixties. For years Uncle George was proprietor of the St. Charles hotel, where Mrs. Tufly became a great favorite with the traveling public. Her sudden taking off will be sincerely mourned by a large circle of friends and acquaintances. She leaves a husband and two daughters Mrs. Oliver Roberts of Carson, and Mrs. I. Parrott of San Mateo, Cal., to shed tears of sorrow over her grave.
