Mrs. Story had lived in Lovelock for 58 years, coming from Utah where she was born, Sept. 23, 1929. She is survived by her husband, William "Bill" Story of 53 years, and sons Robert Story of Reno, Jim Story of Winnemucca, and Ken Story of Lovelock, daughter Peggy Holland of Lovelock, brothers Dean Black, Carl Black, Ben Black, all of the Blanding, Utah, sisters Leila Drown of Carson City, Nev., and Kay Tea of Ithaca, N.Y., and nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Story and her husband owned and operated Story Distributing Company for 25 years, and Story Hour Video store for seven years. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and taught primary and gospel doctrine in the church for many years. She played piano and the organ for the church for more than 40 years. She loved quilting, sewing and knitting, and was an active member of the community. She served on several boards over the course of several years.
