	Suicide.  He died from Poison.  He was a Barber in Gold Hill.  (Pioche Daily Record)

	Mine accident.  Left wife and 6 children .  The family was left destitute.  (Pioche Daily Record)

	Shot by Robinson, who said “I’m a Hays Man.  Some one said he’s a Tolden Man, at which time he shot Lewis in the bowels.  (Pioche Daily Record)

	Broke his neck.  Age 32.  2 brothers at Gold Hill.  [No newspaper source noted./ss]  (There are O’Gara’s buried at Empire City.  Those at Empire City Cemetery are related to S. E. Jones.)     

RICHARD, James	Died, 23 May 1874, Gold Hill
	Mine fire victim, age 25 yrs.  Native of Cornwall.  (Pioche Daily Record)

SCOTT, William A.	Died, 3 Jul 1876, Gold Hill
	He was the chief timberman, struck on the head by a large bucket.  He fell 260 feet.  (Pioche Daily Record)

SILVA, Manuel	Died 17/18/ Jun 1874, Gold Hill
	He died from injureids received in blast at the Belcher mine.  Native of Portugal.  (Pioche Daily Record)  [Note:  On present Gold Hill Cemetery list as W. F. SILVEIRA/ss]

SLATTERY, John	Died, 10 Oct 1873, Gold Hill
	Age 42 yrs.  Native of Ireland.  (Pioche Daily Record)  [Note:  A second item notes he died at Virginia City.  Died from injuries in falling in the Crown Point Mine.  Wife lived at Junction City, California.
