Death of Brennan
William Brennan, ex-County Recorder of Storey county, who was shot last Saturday
night in Bryson’s saloon at Carson, died yesterday at 10 o’clock.  The deceased
was a native of Bangor, Me., and 32 years old.  Hogan, from whose pocket the
pistol which fired the fatal shot is supposed to have fallen, went to the
Sheriff’s office yesterday, gave himself up and was released on $1,000 bail.
