Deceased arrived at Monterey in 1848 on an American man of war. He was the founder of the Poodle Dog restaurant on Dupont street, San Francisco, and for many years was the proprietor of the French Rotisserie, North C street, Virginia City. His funeral will take place at 1 P.M. to-morrow from the Pioneers’ hall.
