Cline, who formerly run on the C. P. R. R. between Winnemucca and Wadsworth, was instantly killed at West Oakland last Wednesday. While trying to step on the pilot of a moving engine, he slipped to the ground and was struck on the top of the head by the engine, causing instant death. Cline leaves a widow and child in Gold Hill, in this State. He was married about two years in Winnemucca to Miss Ida Boyd. He had worked only two days in the Oakland yard, and he had rented a house and intended to send for his wife and child the day he was killed.
